Your Shipping Journey
Follow your vehicle's journey from auction to arrival. Below is our typical shipping timeline with estimated timeframes that may vary by destination and shipping method.
Auction
You win a car! We issue an invoice.
Inland Transport
We transport your car to a forwarder's yard where the car is stored until just before shipping.
Payment Received
Full payment is received and we start booking your shipment.
Car Documents
The seller provides vehicle documents and any books or spare keys.
Export Paperwork
De-registration is complete and Export Certificates are issued. All necessary customs and legal documentation is prepared.
Shipping Booked
A shipment date is confirmed and we will email you the details. Your car moves through customs and to the port.
Shipping
Your car is loaded and the ship departs.
Shipping Confirmed
We email you copies of the surrendered Bill of Lading, Export Certificate and any other relevant documents.
Postage
We will post you the export certificate and all books, keys or accessories that came with the car.
Arrival
Your car arrives at the destination port.
Shipping Methods
RO-RO (Roll-on/Roll-off)
The vehicle is driven onto the ship. This is the most common and cost-effective method for single vehicles.
Container
The vehicle is loaded into a shipping container. Ideal for higher-value vehicles or when shipping multiple items together.
