Smile JV is a licensed dealer and exporter of used cars and motorcycles, based in Kansai, Japan.
We are a Japanese registered company, members of the Kyoto Chambers of Commerce and hold direct membership with the major auction houses in Japan.
Smile Japanese Vehicles began trading in 2010 when we obtained our dealer's license, and was incorporated as Smile JV LLC on 1 June 2011. We have the experience and a family of reputable partners to ensure the car export process is as smooth as possible. The result is less headaches and faster shipping for our clients.
The Auction Process
Consultation
Contact us for a free 30-minute consultation to discuss specific models, market trends, and total landed costs.
Security Deposit
Place a refundable security deposit (15% of your max bid) to activate your account and begin the bidding process.
Auction Access
Gain full online access to view thousands of daily listings across all major Japanese auction houses.
Search & Inspect
We provide professional translations of auction sheets. Our own Smile JV staff carry out personal inspections at all the major auction houses — from Tokyo and Nagoya to Osaka and Kobe — and we use trusted contractors at auctions we don't attend in person. You can place bids in our auction system.
Export & Delivery
Once you win, we manage the entire logistics chain: inland transport, de-registration, customs, and international shipping.
